By paying the fees, you are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the course materials and software for the sole purpose of completing the online course. Any violations of these terms, including the copyright notice, will be pursued to the fullest extent permitted by law and may result in a claim for damages and/or be considered a criminal offence.

This constitutes the grant of a license, not a transfer of title. This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions or the Terms of Service, and may be terminated by Candleapothecary at any time.

Payments and Refunds

When purchasing our course you are required to provide your financial information relevant to the chosen payment method, in some cases, you may be requested to provide your credit card details. Please note that payments made via credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay will be processed by Stripe. Candleapothecary trades in British Pounds, payments made in other currencies will be subject to an exchange fee which you will be required to pay.

Please note that since the content offered on our platform is solely digital, you waive your statutory right for cancellations the moment you access the digital content offered in our courses. Candleapothecary does not offer refunds due to the downloadable nature of the course. Should you have any questions or concerns please reach out to us via [email protected]. Sharing the course material will result in the immediate termination of your access to our platform and any associated course communities.

By enrolling in a recurring payment plan with Candleapothecary, you acknowledge and agree to make timely payments of your instalments. These instalments will be automatically deducted from your card or PayPal account on a monthly basis until the full course fees have been settled.

In the event that your payments are processed through the instalment plan and you fail to fulfil your regular payments, we will reach out to you directly to address the situation. While we are committed to helping you to the best of our abilities, please note that your account and access to course materials may be suspended until payment is made. It is therefore imperative that you keep us informed and communicate any difficulties as soon as possible. Please note that instalment payments may be subject to an additional administrative fee of £25 per instalment if payments are missed, to cover the costs of late payment processing. We reserve the right to levy this fee at our discretion.

Booking Process

Our course material is exclusively available in English and translations are not currently offered. To make a course booking, please use the booking form on our website. Upon receipt of your order, we will send you an email confirming your purchase and providing instructions for accessing the Services. Please note that enrolment will only be considered complete once payment has been received and cleared, either as a deposit for instalments or as full payment. All bookings are subject to availability and we reserve the right to decline orders for any reason. If we do need to decline your order, we will notify you promptly.

To ensure that we can provide you with the best possible service, we kindly ask that full payment for all ordered Services is made prior to processing your order. Our third-party payment providers, such as Stripe or PayPal, will be utilised to facilitate the payment process and confirmation of the transaction will be received by us once the payment has been successfully completed. Please note that your training booking will only be confirmed once full payment has been received.

Please note that unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, such as cancellations or rescheduling, may affect course dates, content, or timing. In the event of a cancellation, amendment, or rescheduling, we will make every effort to arrange suitable alternatives.

Disclaimer and Limitations of Liability

Our website and the materials on our website are provided on an 'as is' basis. To the extent permitted by law, Candleapothecary makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property, or other violation of rights.

While we provide our customers with best practices, correct handling procedures, and safety measures, it is important to note that customers assume all personal risks and liability for their own welfare.

When booking a course, the customer hereby acknowledges and agrees to assume full personal responsibility for any accidents or injuries that may arise during the candle-making process. By doing so, the customer waives any liability that may arise from Candleapothecary and fully indemnifies us against any and all losses resulting from any legal action that may follow any accidents or injuries incurred during participation in our online program. Acceptance of training by the customer is tantamount to acceptance of the foregoing Terms of Service.

Notice regarding Earnings

Our products and services, as well as the information discussed in our courses, are not a promise or guarantee of potential earnings. Your success will depend on various factors including your commitment, skills, creativity, and other factors which differ from person to person. Therefore, we cannot guarantee your success or income level, and we are not responsible for any actions you take.
